Temple Special Bitter
Temple Special Bitter is a richly flavoured, malty copper coloured ale displaying warm red highlights and a dense white head. The use of imported British Maris Otter and Crystal malts provides a distinctively English flavour.
The smooth creamy palate is balanced by a unique earthy, dry bitterness provided by the rare Bramling Cross hops. This combined with a complex blend of spicy, fruity hops including Challenger, Northdown and East Kent Goldings contributes to the rich hop flavour and aroma and leads to a characteristically long, dry, bitter – sweet finish.
Temple Special Bitter is bottle conditioned to produce a light, natural carbonation. It should be served by pouring carefully into a glass, leaving the lees undisturbed in the bottle
