La Vieille Ferme Rose 1.5L MAGNUM

La Vieille Ferme Rosé is a dry southern French rosé from the Perrin family of the Rhône Valley.

The Perrin family, owners of Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, created La Vieille Ferme as a range of everyday wines drawn from vineyards in the hills around Ventoux and the Luberon, at the eastern edge of the southern Rhône. The altitude there brings cooler nights than the valley floor, which matters a great deal when making rosé. Grenache and Cinsault, the traditional pairing for pink wine across the south of France, make up the bulk of the blend, with Syrah alongside. The juice is run off its skins after only brief contact, which is what keeps the colour pale. The name means, simply, the old farm, and the range has been a fixture on wine lists around the world for decades.

Serve well chilled with salads, grilled fish or charcuterie in the sun.
